Jerome Powell and QE
#1
The fed has created around 3 trillion dollars through quantitative easing since March. Though there is not substantial evidence to prove that quantitative easing works , it seems to be keeping the stock markets quite stable. It will be interesting to see how this policy plays out and it’s effects on the US economy. Thoughts?

I think its effect on the dollar and other currencies will also be very interesting to see. With the Fed printing the large amounts of money as mentioned in your thread, this is going to appreciate other currencies, which definitely isn't something warranted by other countries at the moment. Other countries will be looking to keep their currencies from appreciating to allow for cheaper exports as a source of revenue for their own economies.
